Adele Twinned With Beyoncé to Show Her Love for ‘Black Is King’

Adele’s love for Beyoncé is aware of no bounds.

On August 1, Adele—a long time Beyoncé superfan—took to Instagram to present appreciation for Queen Bey’s newest venture, Black Is King (accessible now on Disney+). Wearing her hair in beautiful curls, the musician posed in a  high that completely matched Beyoncé’s Marine Serre bodysuit from the movie’s iconic “Already” scene.

“Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art ♥️♥️,” she wrote within the caption.

In the original announcement for the visible album again in June, Beyoncé revealed her reimagining of the Lion King is a love letter to Black tradition. “Black Is King is a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black expertise,” the statement read. “The movie is a narrative for the ages that informs and rebuilds the current. A reunion of cultures and shared generational beliefs. A narrative of how the individuals left most damaged have a rare reward and a purposeful future.”

“These timeless classes are revealed and mirrored by way of Black voices of immediately, now sitting in their very own energy,” the assertion continued. “Black Is King is an affirmation of a grand function, with lush visuals that commemorate Black resilience and tradition. The movie highlights the great thing about custom and Black excellence.”

Of course, Adele’s obsession with the movie ought to come as no shock. Back in 2017, the artist dedicated her Album of the Year win on the Grammys to Beyoncé, who had launched Lemonade that very same awards season.

“I can not presumably settle for this award. I’m very humble and grateful and gracious, however the artist of my life is Beyoncé; for me, the Lemonade album was simply so monumental, Beyoncé,” she stated in her speech. “It was so monumental. And so well thought out and so beautiful and soul-bearing and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that. And all us artists here adore you. You are our light. And the way that you make me and my friends feel, the way that you make my black friends feel, is empowering and you make them stand up for themselves and I love you. I always have, and I always will.”

I simply have one query: When will we get a collab? Or would all that expertise rip the material of actuality? I feel it is well worth the threat, tbh.
